Experience

2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with an emphasis on IP/MPLS/Fiber systems implementation
1 year as a project team member or a project coordinator role
Knowledgeable in IP, GPON, FTTH and active fiber deployment
Adequate experience in reading and interpreting Google map drawings and designs

Professional/Technical competencies:

Good knowledge & understanding of transport (IP and Fiber) network engineering and implementation.
Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Access, and Project)
Familiarity with a variety of mapping, GIS and CADD drafting programs
Ability to Work with Google Earth KMZ’s and KML’s
Project Management
Stakeholder management
Good knowledge of putting together project estimates, budgets, and schedules
Business acumen
Knowledge of the OSI model and networking standards including TCP/IP and the 802.11 family
Adequate knowledge in the latest advanced technology
