Purpose of Position
• Leading the service operational team, giving stakeholders a targeted return on investment provide technically sound advice and mentoring for Technicians. Development and marketing of products and solutions to all internal and external customers
Key Result Areas
Operations
• Ensure levels of service staff are adequately trained and re competent to meet the expectation of company’s clients
• Product problem management
• Ensure proper planning and effective utilisation of company resources to meet company targets and company objectives
• Warranty management
• Ensure quote accuracy and WIP Management
• Preparation on monthly service reports
• Provide technical support for the Heavy Duty Mechanics
• Ensure compliance with OEM maintenance and repair procedures
• Create a high performance focused culture through personal leadership, teamwork and the development of individual accountability for performance
Customer Relationship
• Achieve positive customer relationships through
O Proactively developing and implementing customer relationship management strategy and tactice
O Maintaining a strong profile in the customer’s eyes on the project
O Responding in a timely manner to customer requests by either oral or written means as circumstences dictate and ensuring responses are accurate and honest
O Attending to customer complaints in a timely manner, investigating the causes and assisting to resolve any issues before they become a dispute
• Keeping the customer informed of matters which are of concern to either him/her or to Panafrican Group

Capacity Requirement
• Qualified Artisan or Applicable Engineering Diploma / Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the customer interface
• Good communication (written, verbal and presentation) and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and meeting deadlines
• High level of computer literacy
• Strong knowledge of Komatsu products
• Ability to think ahead and plan
• Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities
• Problem analysis and resulution
• Strong customer orientation
• Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills and ability to read hydraulic and electrical schamtics
