Job Summary
• The Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and communicating the technical differentiation of the company’s products and services over those of competitors within a region.
• He/She advises marketing & sales management on deployment of technology to maximise the value of Schlumberger’s commercial portfolio within the domain.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s or masters degree in Engineering with 6 years Oil field experience in related job
• Establishes lasting, professional relationships with customer contacts
• Understands customers local environment and identifies new technical applications suited to their needs
• Ensure that customer problems arising from sales are responded to and appropriately managed
• Provides technical support for marketing activities such as presentations, demonstrations, and technology launches
