The Department of Finance at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for appointment as Lecturer in Risk and Insurance.
Qualification Required & Experience
The candidate must:
• Possess PhD with specialisation in Risk Management, Quantitative Finance, Risk and Insurance, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, or closely related fields, with a PhD level course work component.
• Be capable of teaching Insurance and Risk Management or its related courses
• Have a strong research background and professional research experience.
• Have carried out research and published at least one (1) article in relevant area in a peer-reviewed journal; and
• Have a commitment to excellent teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
REMUNERATION
The salary and conditions of service for the position are similar to what pertains in Ghanaian public universities.
Location: Accra
