Job Summary
• We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to lead the IT function at our Takoradi factory branch, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems and infrastructure.
• This role supports daily operations across the region through proactive planning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. You will lead IT personnel, support business digitalization efforts, and collaborate with headquarters on key system initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage branch IT operations, aligning them with business and regional information center goals.
• Organize and execute all IT-related tasks, including hardware and network installation, monitoring, and maintenance; IT material inventory and asset management; IT security and information confidentiality management; surveillance and communication system setup; and business process optimization and demand mining.
• Oversee user support, system training, performance monitoring, and documentation.
• Ensure smooth operation of inventory systems, network platforms, and data management tools.
• Propose improvements for weaknesses in daily management and system performance.
• Supervise and coach IT personnel; track and assess team performance.
• Coordinate with other branches and the regional IT center to support regional standardization
Qualifications and Skills
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of IT experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Solid technical knowledge in: Hardware/network systems, Monitoring & surveillance systems,
• Operating systems (Windows/Linux), and Cloud services and cybersecurity
• Strong communication, coordination, and cross-cultural team management skills.
• Ability to lead training, performance evaluations, and digital transformation efforts.
• High integrity, sense of responsibility, and confidentiality.
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment.
