The company is looking for a versatile, creative, analytical and dynamic individual to join the Graphic design team to create attractive output by the use of words and images for all its publications.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and design newspaper pages in accordance with house style, rules on layout and typography
• Scan, retouch and crop pictures into computer systems suitable for publication in the newspapers
• Typeset stories, reports, articles etc and effect changes where necessary before publication of the newspapers
• Merge and refine news sheets
• Download text and images from CDs, pendrives and the internet for publication in the newspapers
• Design advertisements and other promotional material for the Sales & Marketing department

Qualification Required & Experience
• Good first Degree in Graphic Design or related field with a minimum of at least 2 years post qualification relevant experience OR
• HND in Graphic Design or related field with a minimum of at least 3 years post qualification relevant experience
Skills / Competencies
• Proficient in the use of Photoshop, Quarkxpress, Illustrator and indesign
• Keen eye for detail
• Creative and analytical
• Flexible attitude to working arrangements
