Degas Ghana Limited is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Planning and Analysis Officer to join our finance team at Degas. Reporting to the Finance Strategy and Planning Manager, your primary focus will be on financial analysis, operational performance evaluation, and budgeting assistance. This recruitment aims to establish two distinct duos within the finance team—one dedicated to Administration and Accounting, and the other to Budgeting, Strategy, and Analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Assist in the preparation and tracking of KPIs to monitor business performance and provide timely reporting to management.
● Prepare variance analysis reports to highlight deviations from budgets and forecasts, providing insights into the underlying reasons.
● Support the FP&A Manager in the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
● Propose financial models and tools to enhance efficiency in financial planning and analysis activities.
● Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for management and other stakeholders.
● Continuously improve and streamline financial processes to enhance productivity and accuracy at your level.
● Work closely with the FP&A Manager and other finance team members to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
QUALIFICATION
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
● Proven experience in financial planning and analysis or a related role
● Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial modelling.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
● Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
● Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the company’s success.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
