Job Summary
• To manage the Finance and Accounting functions of DTI, ensuring the following, integrity of financial operations, prudent liquidity and risk management, preparation and submission of timely financial reports/statements to all stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
• Develop Accounting / Financial policies, Operating standards, procedures and other support systems, including monitoring mechanisms in managing the finance and accounting function
• Implement internal controls and procedures to better identify and track financial performance, costs and minimise risks
• Provide inputs and leadership in the preparation of departmental budgets, monitor compliance with budget and lead periodic sessions to compare DTI’s actual performance with budget
• Provide direction on the management of DTI’s balance sheet and liquidity
• Manage cash prudently and offer advise on strategies and opportunities for investments.

Qualification Required & Experience
The ideal candidate should possess
• A first degree in finance or a related field plus a professional accounting qualification (CA Ghana, ACCA, ACMA) with a minimum of 10 years work experience, with at least 5 years in a management position. An MBA in Finance would be an added advantage. Must be a registered member of the institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana and have
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• computer literacy with strong functionality skills (familiarity with Excel, and other Accounting software / applications)
