The Job Responsibilities would include but not limited to the following:

• Manage accounts staff (scheduling, training, disciplining, appraising, etc.)
• Develop, motivate and coach subordinates to achieve sustained performance improvement
•Ensure timely filing of tax returns and other local regulatory requirements
• Ensure accurate, timely and organized treatment of all accounting documents
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of cash statements
• Review and enforce financial and internal control policies and procedures
• Ensure timely monthly closing of accounts
• Organize and supervise annual physical stock takings
• Act as an advisor to management on all accounting and fiscal matters

Qualification Required & Experience

• A qualified accountant (member of ACCA/ICAG)/Or An Experienced one with Masters in the respective field
• Strong knowledge of the Ghanaian tax systems
• Very good working knowledge of MS Excel; knowledge of Tally is an asset
