McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust.) Pty Ltd have teamed up with Diona Pty Ltd as a Joint Venture (MDJV) working together with SA Water to deliver its $1.6 billion capital delivery program to improve water and sewerage services for South Australians.

About the role:
We are currently recruiting for a Site Administrator to join our growing team. This position is based on site in regional South Australia; as such you must be able to work away from home on a 10 days on/4 days off roster, drive in/out from Adelaide. Accommodation, transport, meals, and competitive site allowances are included whilst living away from home.

MDJV are delivering the ‘Water North program’ which includes the Morgan to Whyalla pipeline renewal. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing administration support to project personnel working on this project.

To be successful in this position you must have a minimum of 5 years administration experience in a construction or engineering environment (or similar), and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain site personnel roster and provide support with the co-ordination of flights and accommodation as required
  • Maintenance of document management and filing systems
  • Word processing of correspondence, reports, tenders, charts, ad hoc documents, meeting minutes and financials
  • Organise and maintain the site office, and ordering supplies as required
  • Preparation for meetings, catering, and presentation aids
  • Assist the Project Manager as required with overall administration issues regarding the day-to-day operations of the project
  • Ensure all orders are completed correctly, collate delivery dockets, check invoices against orders and delivery dockets, and prepare for certification

To compliment the responsibilities above, you will have the ability to work autonomously and prioritise your workload to suit the everchanging demands of the project. You will have clear verbal and written communication and be able to build meaningful relationships with your peers and project stakeholders.
