- M + 3 year degree in Administration / Management or a relevant related qualification equivalent to NQF Level 7 as recognized by SAQA;
- Matric with minimum of seven years’ experience in an examination office ;
- Sound knowledge of student administration value chain
- Excellent administrative and supervisory abilities;
- Decision-making on a supervisor’s level;
- High stress tolerance during peak periods
- Risk analysis and management;
- Quality assurance and promotion;
- Good interpersonal as well as sound communication skills;
- In-depth knowledge of university’s certification and examinations policy
- Computer literate with excellent knowledge of the ITS Student system;

- Assists the Manager: Graduation and Examinations with the smooth running of the examination and graduation activities;
- Responsible for the overall graduation and examination administration duties within the East London campus
- Supervises examination officers , data capturers and temporary staff
- Liaises with academic and faculty representatives on matters pertaining to examination and graduation administration
- Assists with compilation of examinations timetable
- Ensures safekeeping and security of all examination question papers and memoranda at all times
- Ensures safe printing environment of examination question papers at all times
- Monitors appointment and remuneration of external examiners at all times
- Ensures that quality measures are implemented and maintained at all times as per University`s set rules and regulations
