Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform Professional clinical duties at Primary Health Clinic at Qwaqwa Campus.
- Handle emergencies on campus and refer to a doctor or other facilities when necessary.
- Assist with awareness campaigns regarding health on campus.
- Assist with first aid services at sport events on campus.
- Liaise with internal and external role-players.
- Assist with ordering of stock (medicine and consumables) and medical equipment.
- Assist with training of Peer Educators.
- Capture patient data and clinical notes on computer.
Inherent requirements:
- A Nursing diploma or degree in general, psychiatric, midwifery or community nursing.
- A post-basic diploma/degree in Primary Healthcare.
- Proof of registration at the South African Nursing Council (SANC) (attach a copy).
- A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in a clinical environment.
- A valid driver’s licence
- NIMART Trained (attach copy of certificate).

Assumption of duties:
1 April 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.
