Procurement Administrator at Ann Swann Personnel Services

Our client within the metal recycling industry, requires a Procurement Administrator with at least 2 years’ relevant experience and a tertiary qualification. Good organising skills are essential as well as Civil purchasing experience.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management Certificate (NQF6), Diploma or Degree.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in Procurement.
  • Must be computer literate (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Must have good organisational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for keeping the vendors database up to date.
  • Handle the vendor applications process: approvals, follow ups, filling.
  • Assist the Department in administrative duties.
  • Maintain efficient filing systems.
  • Maintain a healthy and professional relationship with suppliers.
  • Operate with the highest standards of integrity.
  • Follow the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Perform duties required by your designated Manager.
  • Function as part of a team.
  • Ensure total confidentiality of all information, internal and external, pertaining to the business of the Company, all its Employees and Management.
  • Actively promote a positive working environment and a sense of belonging among all staff.
  • Become familiar with, comply with and promote all company policies, procedures and administrative processes.
  • Utilise work time productively to meet the company’s objectives.
  • Promote a positive and professional company image at all times.
  • Perform all necessary computer functions.
