NTC Registration For In Service Teachers

We hereby advice the general public that, the National teaching council has officially opened registration for all teachers in public or private sector schools. The National Teaching Council has opened registration for In-service teachers employed in the public or private sector. The purpose of this registration is to introduce every teacher currently in active service to the NTC Teacher Portal Ghana (TPG) which will serve as the online hub for all continuous professional development activities and licensing. The registration will also provide NTC an updated database of all teachers in the country. It is envisaged that teachers across the country will familiarize themselves with the NTC TPG web portal during this lockdown period. The following section provides guidance notes on how to use the portal.

Requirements Needed To Register Online For Public Teachers (GES Teachers)

1. An active email address (create one if you do not have).
2. SSNIT number
3. Staff ID
4. Scanned passport picture for upload (optional).
5. Scanned evidence of professional training –Teacher Cert A, Diploma,
   PGDE, B.Ed, M.Ed, MPhil, Ph.D. (as PDF, PNG or JPEG).
6. Scanned first appointment letter (as PDF, PNG, or JPEG).

How To Register, Get NTC Number And Licence On Teachers Portal Ghana (TPG)

The Online Registration Procedures to register and get the NTC number and license on the teachers portal

1. Go to https://tpg.ntc.gov.gh/via a web browser on a PC.
2. Click “Register Now” to create an account or log in to an existing account.
3. Select “Teacher” as the account type.
4. Fill in details and submit them.
5. Open your email account in another browser tab.
6.  Check your email for a confirmation link from NTC TPG.
7. Follow the instructions on the site to complete your registration.
