Job Title: Controlling Professional (Branches)

Mission/Function of the role:

Completes/Performs budget planning, financial planning, actual-versus-plan-analysis, benchmarking, forecasting and reporting activities, for the management of an assigned organization unit inclusive of All Africa Branches (13 Branches). Also assist with Carve out Business Controlling and Reporting.

What are the responsibilities of the role?

• RICCO (Risk & Internal Control Co-Ordinator) – Coordinate, monitor and ensure all RIC activities i.e. PCMB assessments, workshops, external auditor’s assessments, internal and self-assessments for SI. RIC-Tool user
• Financial Reporting, Integrity and effective Risk Management & Internal Control Systems
• Effective Business Administration, Controlling and Financial Planning
• Interaction with internal Customers, Government Authorities, Suppliers, Financial Institutions, Auditors
• Interaction with operational companies’ management, BU Management, Country Management, Corporate/Support Functions, Branch and Assigned Country Management
• Detailed understanding of process and systems – Expert
• Have the ability to identify, analyse and mitigate the potential risks and opportunities
• Ability to adopt and align the global branches strategies with consideration
• The use and understanding of Siemens data analytics tools (DASH, Tableau, RPA etc.) would be an added advantage.
• Carve out business controlling and reporting; daily monitoring billing and purchasing transactions, monthly cost and profit center controlling reporting and planning.

What do I need to Qualify?

Relevant Accounting/Financial Degree/Diploma or Equivalent

3- 5 years relevant controlling and reporting experience

3-5 years SAP Experience

Familiar regular and statutory Audit activities

Advanced Excel Skills
