Specific responsibilities include:
- Do deep cleansing tasks
- Perform cleaning, stock up and supply goods to certain areas
- Do activities involving document routine inspection and maintenance
- Alerting management of lacking items or needs for repairs
- It is very important cleaners strictly follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Normally, cleaners will require South African high school diploma or GED.
- Previous work experience as a cleaner is generally preferred.
- A basic knowledge cleaning chemicals and supplies is helpful with knowhow of material safety data sheets.
- Domestic cleaners are expected to be hardworking as work can be physical.
- Based on the health and safety reasons, cleaners must be wary of hazardous materials.
- Recording safety lapses to appropriate authorities in their line of duty can help protect work environment; life and property.
- Not going to restricted areas for safety reasons is highly encouraged.
