- National Diploma in Finance
- 8 years’ extensive administrative experience required
- Computer skills; Knowledge of administration with regards to external funding allocation will be advantages

Financial Administration:
- Support the Head Finance by monitoring & controlling all aspects pertaining to the expenditure & income & capital budget in order to effectively meet the financial objectives of the department.
- Support the Head Finance & SPO Finance by monitoring & controlling other pertinent legislation & procedures pertaining to financial management within local government to maintain & Â control an effective & accurate financial management service.
- Co-ordinating documentation, reports & feedback from the 9 functional areas to ensure accuracy & timeous completion of the budget process within the specified guidelines.

- Investigating & resolving queries relating to the expenditure budget for the department
- Preparing, compiling & submitting claims for income from various external entities timeously
- Preparing & co-ordinating income and expenditure budget for the year-end closing
Staff Administration:
- Apply effective & efficient management & supervision of staff in order to ensure compliance with corporate governance & procedures & relevant legislation.
- Implementing & maintaining administrative & financial procedures & systems
- Facilitating training & development
