Skills and Experience
We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and committed individual who meets the following requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Business Management / Public Administration / Information Systems / Information Science
- A minimum of 5 years in an Information and Knowledge intensive economics/business environment
- Strong investigative and analytical skills.
- Proven project management experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams will be an added advantage.
Other considerations:
- Practical work exposure to area of expertise will be further considered to balance against other requirements.
Key Accountabilities
The main responsibilities of the incumbent will, inter alia, include:
- To lead and manage the Commission’s initiatives to implement the Knowledge Management (KM) framework and its associated practices, processes, and systems; which will enhance productivity and client service to all stakeholders within the Competition Commission.
- Contribute to the strategic planning for the Division
- Manage implementation of the Knowledge Management (KM) framework
- Manage the capturing of knowledge generated across the Commission
- Promote knowledge sharing and Knowledge Management (KM) practices
- Oversee practices in the application of knowledge
- Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders
- Act as a representative of the Commission within the framework of the Competition Act when communicating with the business, consumers, employer/ employee representatives, and other government agencies.
