Job Description




Holds a Masters / Master's degree (BAC + 5) in public works engineering or road engineering

Bachelor's degree (bachelor's degree +3) in public works engineering or road engineering 
with an additional 2 years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the training requirements described above 

The highly desirable PRINCE2® Practitioner certification .

Certifications Program / Project Management Professional (PgMP MSP® or PMI / PMI-PMP) is an asset. 
Professional experience

A minimum of 07 years of relevant and progressive professional experience, particularly in the field of design and / or implementation and management of road projects, is essential.

Experience working in a major infrastructure project funded by international organizations is essential.

A detailed knowledge of internationally accepted methods, regulations and tools for project management procurement and / or financial management is required.

Knowledge and experience of using FIDIC contract forms is essential.

Knowledge and experience in compact and Millennium Challenge Corporation's (MCC) administration and / or World Bank operating procedures is an advantage.

Work experience in sub-Saharan Africa is essential.

Knowledge and direct experience in implementing rural roads using labor-based approaches is an asset.

Knowledge and experience in performance and performance oriented service contracts is an asset.

Strong experience in data analysis, management reports and information management tools and systems is an advantage. 
Linguistic knowledge

Perfect command of English and French is essential.


Contract type: International ICA Contract level: IICA 3 
Contract duration: Ongoing ICA - 'Open-ended, subject to organizational requirements, availability of funds and satisfactory performance.'
